Speeding Up Cycling Process With Juwel Rekord 96 And Juwel Rekord 70

Hey all,

I Should be getting a juwel rekord 70 2 moro For £35 used, comes complete, now ive got a fully mature juwel rekord 96 stocked with 3 angels, 3 gold gouramis, 4 danios, 3 neons, and 1 5 inch plec, (I know its proly over stocked, but ive got a extra interal filter in there to cope and its working fine for months already)


now would i be right in say that the sponges in the 96 filter are the same as the 70 just the sponges are turned on there side basically, so would it harm the 96 to take ONE sponge out and put it in the 70 , to speed the cycle up ? , Now what i worry about is that i might mess up the cycle for the 96 but it shouldnt as it has a cycled extra fillter and its been running for months already, I will monitor the water stats along the way,


How long would it take for the 70 to be fully cycled ? I will also be using some water from the 96 too,

And maybe, I will first see what people say , is add my 4 danios to give the ammonia, or just add some fish flake

Im gonna be using the 70 for my breeding pair of angels, cause i want to breed them and try my hand at raising fry.
