Spawn Isnt Going That Well

I think he lost a few over night, I left the light on but he seems to have fewer in the nest this morning

I have about 25 squigglers! dad is doing a great job! I think his next spawn will be bigger but is amazing to see him such a good dad. 3 days on the trot and he's still putting them back in the nest. He has also taken to brushing his tail across the floor and almost flicking the fry up and then collecting them all. Im pretty proud of the dude. I will put pics up when I can!

Oooh that is awesome news! And a good size spawn for his, and your, first time. Not too many that you have them coming out your ears but enough to be proud and gain experience from. Awesome stuff!

Thanks guys! As Netty will tell you Im still pretty nervous LOL think I will be better soon, mum is already staring at my other boys nests and you can see her breeding tube again! (dont think she will be getting what she wants for a while!)

Maddie this is the unsuccessful spawn sadly, its the same pair that are at it now! hence my shock they were supposed to be resting!!!!!
