Hi all
Can anyone tell me a reasonably priced heater to get as a spare should my regular heater fail. Read a lot about people buying supposedly good heaters for them to fail after a few days, I have a 36 gallon tank. Thanks in advance

i have only every used the ehiem jager heaters and i cant fault them, i know they are not the cheapest, and as a spare would be silly but i also hear tetra do them reasonably priced..

I use ViaAqua, not sure if they are necessarily cheap or not, but they work like charms.

Ok will probably get the german one as there not to mega bucks and its only in case the heater in my tank fails, i would hate to lose my fish for something so easily avoided.

Aqueon makes some very affordable and reliable heaters.  I bought a 200W Aqueon heater for only $21 that I use in my 45 gallon.  Keeps a constant temp of 80 degrees in my tank with no Fluctuations.
