Sos - Bolivian Ram Cichlid Got Trapped In The Night

Guys
One of my Bolivian Ram cochlids got stuck up under the filter in the night. I has spent a few hours rearraging that end of the tank so perhaps he got confused as his territory was all different.

It dropped out from behind it when i moved the filter today, it is now sitting on the bottom gasping for air and cant seem to swim up off the bottom.

What do i do!?

I suppose all you can do is wait. If you have some stress coat or maybe a small amount of aquarium salt to lower his stress levels.

From the sounds of it, I'd say it's probably extremely stressed, and he may have injured himself whilst struggling.

Yup, add some stress coat and then wait. How is his current condition?

Has moved now and has swam, the larger one has been picking on it again though...easy target!

...Well sitting in a cave and biting everything that comes within 10"s of it but that is better than it was
