And this is one of the babies from the dragon spawn that has been moved in next to him. Just had their bloodworm....hence the podgy tummies lol

ME WANT. As usual. Keep your fish off here before I go insane and steal them all! The feathertail is an absolute stunner, are you keeping him?

Well come and get them

The FT is gorgeous but I don't think we'll be keeping him.....I'm going to be keeping Keaper and his brother the cambodian FT and and a couple of girls :D

The problem is, if anybody could afford to ship to Australia, I'd already HAVE some HM/FT/whatever. But it's a minimum of $200AU - that's 2 months pocket money and wages (so no other fish and no money on fish supplies - impossible) or the cost of my entire 23 gal setup, OR my entire 4 tank, wet-dry sump filtered breeding setup (minus the livestock) to buy a decent quality pair and bring them into the country, THEN you have to pay for the breeding setup...
I hate AQIS.

That's such a shame. Are there no breeders in Australia that you would get some from?

Oh wow! They are looking faaaaaaaab! The first has changed so much in just a few short days, stunning! Is that dragon the one in the kitchen?

x

Yep....the last pic is the one in the kitchen.....just keeping fingers crossed I get a pair like that to breed on :good:

The Platty and the FT are having right old flare off through the divider

I've no doubt you'll get a pair, looked like you have quite a few like that (though that one is really really nice!). Mind you they do change so fast, they could be green with pink spots by now for all I know!

  that would be a first!!!!!

Trouble is I keep changing my mind, so at the moment I want that one and a sibling but then I look at the black ones and like them too

We'll have one of the blacks I think, Dan likes the blacks, silvers and orchids. So maybe we can work it that if there is one you like but are unsure of, we'll have it here and that way if you want to/need to use it then it'll be there?

Sounds like a good plan :good: How many can you take :p

Haha gawd don't get me started!

We've got a second tank, like the one Cambo and Zippy are in, that can be divided. So if there are two that stand out but your not sure on/aren't in your immediate plans or you want to move up and grow on more, just pop them over :good:

Cheers Maddie.....that would be great :good:

There is such a variety of colour in this spawn that it's so difficult to decide what to keep

lol!
The platinums are really something, fantastic metallic shine over some. The CGD thingys are really interesting. I'd be tempted to keep 1 each of those a little longer - just to see how they turn out!
Keapers spawn is just fab, even if a little male heavy lol! And the dragons from the dragon spawn are wikkid.. decisions lol! I guess you'll have a better idea in a few weeks as they start digging into the DW and having some growth spurts.

yea you never know what the fully grown betta will look like. I was treating one of my guys for what I thought was fungus/velvet on his head. nope not velvet. my forest green rt betta has gold scales on his head...very different, under close observation a few of his sisters have the same thing very faintly.

your babies are lovely netty:)
