Sorry It Would Not Let Me Post On The Catfish Forum

Hi Dale,

You can't post in the catfish forum because you have not validated your registration. Notice beside your posts on th left side it says your group is 'Validating'. To validate, you must go to your e-mail address which you provided when registering on the forum, and you will have an e-mail from TFF. Open the e-mail and follow the instructions, and then you will notice your group changes to 'Member'. You will then be able to post in all areas of the board.

With regard to the catfish, it looks like maybe some kind of Synodontis to me, but i'm sure someone else will be able to give you a positive ID.

Cheers

is a Megalechis thoracata, formerly known as Hoplosternum thoratacum. They are closely related to Corydoras and are similar in care requirements.

Porthole Catfish (click for info)

they are commonly known as porthole catfish and are compatible with most fish, i have 2 adults in a tank with neons, fighters, guppy's, small raspora's and a 5" or 6" peacock eel and they are fine.

Nope thats a different species again, the porthole catfish is Dianema longibarbis another close relation to Corydoras and Megalechis but not the fish in the photo.

I personally wouldnt keep them with mbuna as they are a very peacefull species that will easily get picked on by aggressive species.

Feeshy you need to get yourself down to spec savers :p
