140 gallon 6 foot and 18 inchs wide
ok I have

1 green severum
1 gold severum
1 pim pictus
1 polypterus
1 fire mouth
1 royal pleco

I wanted to know if I could add a pike (and what kind) and a parrot fish
also I like the duboisi cichlid and the pet store said they can go with what I have but it is not good to mix south american and Africa cichlids right?

If any one has any ideas on adding something different or taking something out to put what I want in please let me know

I'm not positive but I think it would be ok to put a pike and a BP in there, but might want to wait for somebody else to answer.

You could fit the parrot in, but not much else ;)

Have you already got the royal plec? If not - remember to go for a decent sized one - it will set you back a lot more than a baby, but royal grow very slowly - an inch a year being the average, so if you got a tiny one expecting him to grow alongside your sevs - you'd be disappointed. I'd go for a 5-6" one minimum to give it a good chance of being able to stick up for itself. ;)

I would say you could put 2 or 3 more medium fish in that tank with the parrot fish(good filtration),but thats just me.It is 6ft though and fish love to have a long tank... :good:
