I made one of the homemade Co2 jobs, Coke bottle, tubing etc. No sign of any bubbles presumably there should be?? The mixture is a cup of sugar dissolved into hot water with a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of yeast in mixed. its been 48 hours there isnt any pressure in the bottle so its not blocked.

How fast should the bubbles be coming out?

Don't se hot water. it will kill the yeast. Use warm water. A bottke of cold, mixed with a cup of hot should be your temp mix... then add the sugar and yeast. Don't use a metal spoon to mix the yeast.

I would deffinatly say it was the hot water. It can sometimes take a while for the bubbles to form, depending on how old the yeast is, but 48 hours is a little too long. The first time I mixed it on my own it took like 26 hours.
