sordtails .. when is she done giving birth?

when should i pull the mother from the tank so she dosen't eat the babys .. how long dones it take her to fin after she starts giving birth .. last batch of babys i let her stay in the tank over night with them .. but i was worried she would eat them .. fortunatly she diden't as far as my count .. but she diden't have and more after like an hour

I would leave the fish in the tank and let the fry take there chances, alot of them will survive if you have plenty of hiding spaces and plants.
