Someting Strange Is Happening

Mine had the same issues when I upgraded to power compacts on my 29 gallon. It has 2 65w bulbs for a total of 130w.

Do you still have the same issues? If not, what did you do to eliviate the problem.

Have not switched the new lighting on for a couple of days but they still dart into a corner when the original light comes on.

I think I might drop the "Siesta Period" and just run a continuous light during the day. (10 hours, 11am - 9pm).

I finally went back to buring both lights but the fish stayed spooked. It was when I added some new fish, 7 neons, that they started coming out again.
