Somethings odd here

Well, I added Dusk to my main tank with the other guppy and 6 neons. Ember, my other guppy, started nipping at him, but it wasn't anything serious, and after a little bit he stopped. Well, Dusk isn't anything like my other guppy, he just kind of floats at the top, and only swims around when there is food in the tank. Is he afraid of the others? He is ALWAYS as far away from them as possible, and I never see him swim around just on his own. He looks perfectly healthy and my water tested fine.

Ember is like a part of my neon shoal, he swims around with them, eats with them, and is at the bottom with them. Why is dusk so different? Is it just a personality thing?

Is there any physical signs of illness, has he darkened in colour just to make sure he isn't off colour with his behavour.

Is he a long tailed fancy tail or just an unusualy colored fancy tail?

oh no! i was just looking at some pictures online... i think ember might be a girl...the LFS told me it was a male, but im not so sure. Ember's fins are MUCH smaller and rounder than Dusks. Could a female be as vibrantly colored as ember? The fish is a bright yellow.

well, this is what ember looks like. this is a picture of a supposedly male guppy on a web site.

Embers color is a bit different, but his fins and everything are the same.

Check out the bottom fins on these platys, the first is a male and the second a female and its the same for guppys and mollys too;
