Ireland you will need myxzin and pimafix or anti internal bacteria med by interpet and pimafix.

Right so we have our anti internal bacteria med by interpet and pimafix.
Just to double check before we go ahead and do anything, I have a few more questions -
Is it ok to add both these meds at the same time?
Are both meds ok for all the fish that are in our tank?
If we have a carbon filter, is it best that we take it out? Does it need to be kept in aquarium water in the meantime until it goes back in again?
Is it right that we shouldnt do any water changes until the courses of medications are finished?

Yes you can use both meds at the same time.
Remove black carbon.
Plenty of aeration as meds reduce 02 in the water.
Follow the meds instructions about water changes, if you do have to preform a water change just add the correct amount of med back to water removed.

Just want to say thanks for all your help.
Have finished with all the meds - carbon filter going back in on Saturday.
Everything seems to be well, and the fish seem cured! No more white fluff, and no more popeye!
