Hey everyone,

I've had fish for about 3 years now and every single one is still alive! (except for one lol). Anyways, I want to try something new now. I want to try breeding something in my 20 gallon. Something relatively easy, interesting, and profitable :hey:

Any suggestions?

uh, profitable in a 20 gallon is a no-no. unless you create or discover a new species. i think a kribensis or some livebearers would be nice to breed. but make sure with the livebearers that someone or a lfs will take them off your hands or buy them from you. liveb. breed like rabbits LOL! i'm thinking of starting a balloon molly breeding tank which will probably be 20 gallons.

good luck

Make sure that you have enough room in your 20 gal. You want room for the fry to grow and the 1'' of fish per gallon rule applies.

Apistogramma or shelldwellers will work in a 20. Not sure about the profitable part but you should at least be able get rid of the fry, they don't seem to be all that common and command a decent price.

I have zebra danios which breed once a month-also i have dalmation mollies which are easy to breed. Its all about space though-you're gonna need it!

I'm totally unsure, but it's something to look into. Endler's live bearers? I think they call them that?
