Something Fishy..

Sorry for all the posts, am on a roll tonight!!

A while ago, I found 6 odd fry that looked like little black tadpoles and didnt know what they were - by a matter of deduction, I knew they couldnt be from any of the fish I had at the time. After they grew, it was clear they were black mollies - which was odd because I had no mollies in the tank!! Think they must have hitched a ride with some plants I bought!

Anyways I digress. After a while they started changing colour, months on, 2 are all yellow, 2 are half and half, and 2 are all black. Does anyone know why? No problems with other fish so am confused!!

Over time in this forum I have read a couple of these same threads, that their mollies change colors.

And the answer always seems to be that they are maybe content with themselves and their environment.

Bottom line is, there is nothing negative that is happening to your fish!

Its possible that they could be breeding. Mine changed colour slightly just before they dropped fry.
