Something Exciting To Add To My Tanks

i've seen the green ones around
there just doesnt seem to be anything really exciting to add to my tanks with my current stock -_-

lmao i'm going to give up i dont think there is much i can add to my current fishies that wont eat them lmao
apart from the cats and neons
hmmmmmmm -- going to bang my head on the desk several times and see if i get any ideas ;)

lol, i think if you want something very special its going to be rare.

i dont mind rare lol i can always order it just something that will go with the stock

right going to watch CBB i recorded earlier and see if anyone has any ideas when i come back on

there was new characin discovered a few weeks ago, called the sword tail characin (has all the same properties of a livebearing swordtail minus the aggressiveness.

back to the rainbows, there are some smaller species, threadfin rainbow being one of them , resemble an angel fish but arent as aggresive or tall, and grow to about 2"

hmmm will have to see read up on those and see what they like etc
it's a bugger wanting something a bit different to add to the tanks init lmao

how about some pink kissing guramis

kissing gouramis dont do very well with community fish.

its a right bugger, i had to travel up to leicester to find my ember tetras, and my nearest maiden head was meant to open in november. no sign yet :/

i did it i got some glass cats some khuli loaches and the pair of gouramis i forgot about lol

have you thought about black ghost knife fish? they are quite unique looking and are from the same region as tetras so should be compatable. also good choice with the GBR they are very beatiful fish and bread quite easy with good quality water. :good:

black ghost knife fish would not be suitable at all they need at least 400 litre tank though i would say 600 minimum my ph is too high
these fish grow to 24" in the wild so no way would they ever be suitable for a 180ltr aquarium

nice idea but totally wrong fish :)

which guramis did you get
