 someone in my tank has been taking chunks out of my fish's fins, particularly the biggest angel, i know for a fact it is not the barbs, as they too have nips on them, the fish are:
1 Red-Tailed Black Shark
1 Kribensis Cichlid
1 Adult Male Bristlenose Pleco
1 Pictus Catfish
2 Angel Fish
2 Green Tiger Barbs
3 Dwarf Guoramis
3 Balloon Mollies
4 Paradise Fish
4 Zebra Danios
6 Albino Corydoras
:sly: please help

pic of damage to angel:

seen him chasing once or twice

i would say the gouramis they get very territorial :/
i have 2 dwarf gouramis and they territorial over a favourite place so my guess would be those.

I would look at the tiger barbs or the RTBS. The green tiger barbs are just as agrssive as the regular tiger barbs. Also, they are notoriously nippy fish, especially when they are kept in small groups, such as two. They are schooling fish, and since they don't have others to take out their agression on they maybe chasing and bulling the angel (tiger barbs and angels are usually not considered compatable tank mates)

The RTBS is another suspect. They are highly agressive, some people have successfully kept them with cichlids. Mine is the tank boss, where he probably is going to be rehomed very soon

Any of these but IMO probably the paradise fish.

the rtbs only fights the pictus (who fights back so its a vice-versa thing), both are being re-homed to my new 30gallon convict tank when it is up and running.
i have no idea what to do with the krib.
the tigers can go back to my mum's tank (full of fast fish like tetras).
the guoramis are very peaceful and never nip anything.
balloon mollies are the holy angels of the aquarium and wouldnt even think of harming a snail.
imo its probably the paradise fish, will re-home 2 on saturday (the agressive 2).
