Hi

I just replaced my old ex600 with a ehiem 2 days ago I was runing my ehiem along side my ex600 and juwel filter.

Tonight I moved my ex600 a little out the way and got ready for bed to discover an hour later its sprung a major LEAK!! running out the motor head!

This is my mature filter of 3 yrs! now I dont have anything to mature my eheim apart from the juwel internal one will this be fine to take the load?

I cant get my tetra to seal at all and now I think its been off to long to recover anything from it and I cant affrod to leave it unattended wile I sleep! im shatterd after speanding most of the night trying to fix it.

I hope my poor fish will be fine on the mature juwel filter for now till the new canister kicks in?

:shifty:  I know I should of replace that ex600 sooner!!!

Take the media from the leaking/broken filter and put it in the new filter. Cut the media to fit if you have to. Your tank should be fine and you shouldn't see any water quality problems. But to be on the safe side make sure you test the water during the next couple days.
