just thought i'd share a few random pics i took today

here is my bolivian ram couple, i've had the female for about a week as my previous one died. :-( he really took to her right away and has been showing off and attacking the parrots if they get too close to his territory...not like he can do any damage to them, they're probably 5 times his size. i've been trying to get pics of that, but none have turned out so far

one of my parrots...no idea what he's doing, but i think the clown in the background is funny, looks like he's spying

here are my two scarlet badis'. the closer one is apparently the dominant one--he chewed up the poor other guys tail...any idea if it will heal on it's own or do i need to try to catch him and medicate?

and one last pic. here are some of my bristlenose fry growing up nicely

I love your rams!

thanks fm, i've got to get a couple pics of him all bowed up pecking at the parrots, it's hilarious. where have pics from you been? haven't seen you post any in a long time! your pictures were always amazing.

The BN fry are very cute!

thanks. it's funny they're growing at such different rates, some are so much bigger than others and their growth seems to have slowed down recently too. i hope that doesn't last too much longer, i need to get them big enough to sell so i can move other fry into that tank

ok, i thought i'd give you all a size comparison of my rams and the parrots...

Maybe put lots of little bits of food throughout the tank as opposed to one big piece, then there won't be such competition and they'll all be equally nourished... that's just my theory though. I've raised kept BN fry..

That pic with the ram and parrot 'kissing' is so cute!

thanks, i didn't really want them at first (they were inherited with the tank), but they really grow on you--lots of personality
