Some Questions

1. I always was interested in zebra danios but never had any. Today i looked in the zebra danio tank at my lfs and they had A LOT, but out of all of the there was one spotted one. Are spotted zebras rare or something? info plz

2. I just got a rainbow shark. ive been told they can be kept with peaceful fish, so i bought one. Info on these fish plz. i would like to here the sizes of people who have them. The one i got is 2 and a half inches.

3. I just got a Flagfish!!!! they wont cause problems right?

I can only answer the first question. The spotted zebra danio is a leapord danio. They are exactly the same but different variation of pattern!

The spotted Danio may have been a leopard danio, as you noted it looks the same but has spots instead of stripes.

Must have replied at the same time as orange shark...like him don't know the answer to the other q's

The rainbows can be kept with peacful fish, mine does fine. Give him plenty of places to claim as his own, i.e. coves, logs, anything he can hide in. Don't keep any more than one(male) in the same tank...they WILL fight. They will also pester other sharks like RTBS although i have 2 in with my rainbow and the get along fine. Mine is about 4-5 inches and i think he's done most of his growing.....give him a lot of swimming room, they like to cruise.
