Bought this dood as a female.. pretty interesting looking. Quite sure it's a male. Only had it for about a month.
Cool dood on the top.. pretty ugly female on the bottom.
This dood is around 3 years old.. still swims around and makes nests.
This one isn't very old.. had it for about 6 months.
And the new one.. ohh how I love it.. been looking for opaques since my last one died. Store wanted $15 for it so I said I didn't want it. So he told me $10 and I took it. Was being chased around by a male at least double it's size.
They're not really in great sized tanks.. 4 of them are in 1g tanks, 2 are in tanks that are maybe 3/4 a gallon. In a few months when I've moved I'm going to get a 20Long and divide it for them. I change water quite often so they are never sick, but they will definitely be happier when I move and they're in bigger tanks.

Just because she thinks its ugly doesn't mean she doesn't like it. She wouldn't own it if she didn't like it!
