Some Pics Of My Giant African Filter Shrimp

I finally caught my GAFS out of his usual hiding place and took some pics:

(The white tube in the pic is a hollow plastic tube I use to funnel food into his hiding area, I do this every so often to make sure he is getting enough)

I have had him for a month or two and he seems to be doing quite well, already molted once, so that seems to be a good sign.

Yeah, most of the ones I've seen were brown, so I never thought of getting one. I saw this guy on the way out of the store and I stopped in my tracks and was like Whoa!! I have to get one of those!

I've cracked and got one for my big tank today! I've posted a couple of pics of him in the thread in my sig.

Its very light coloured at the moment, hopefully he will turn blue to look like yours.
