I only ahve a few ATM. I will add more tommorow. But here we go:

027-1.jpg

Little Blue Spruce. Was free from a college when my older bro went to check it out.

028-2.jpg

Blueberry Plant. I just planted it there, used to be a in a pot. I put pine needles from our tree's in there to make it more acidic.

029-1.jpg

Marigold. Its about 1ft by 1 ft. I started it from seed. Im thinking of taking it inside because of its sheer size!

030-2.jpg

Mums, on the side yard.

This mum we got a few weeks ago when my gma was in the hospital from getting her cancer taken out

001-14.jpg

The marigold from above, about 1 and a half months ago!

My parents dont take care of the garden, i do. I seem to be rather succseful. My next idea is to get a Bannana tree, but not till next year atleast. I will have pics of the other Mum, whats lef tof the Purple Coneflowers, Yellow Coneflowers, and peppers and strawberries.

Thanks. I think im going to set out and get some more pics now. Its a beautiful day. Besides,w e are making apple sauce, and im using the left overs to work in my garden. Funny Shelaghfishface, im not green fingerd either! Chester, the Pine Needles work amazingly. It loves the acidic effect on the soil.

Okay, here are more pics.

001-16.jpg

Strawberries, i started off with 1 plant 2 years ago. It then, set off 1 runner, and i saved it and put the 2 out this year. Now there are over 30 strawberry plants.

002-18.jpg

Up Close of the original runner from last year ( not the parent plant).

003-18.jpg

Parent Strawberry. See the runners in the back?

004-15.jpg

My Pepper Forest. See the runners in the bottom middle? Those are from the strawberries.

005-13.jpg

Bell Pepper. Probably has alteast another week on it before it can be picked.

006-11.jpg

Banana Pepper. Needs to be picked.

007-8.jpg

Other Blueberry. lol, its on its last leg. Its not doing well because it didnt get enough sun this year, and this spring, i put a blanket over everything to prevent frost, and i used bricks to hold it down. Well, the next morning, it was nice out, and my dad didnt listen to me, and while i saw at school, he tookt he bricks off. Well, one landed on the Blueberry, and broke a branch on it.

008-9.jpg

I had wild Strawberry's here, and they took over everything. There were alot of weeds in there aswell, so i put posion all over it. Well, since then, nothing has grown, not even weeds!

009-6.jpg

First weed to ever grown int he posion area for the last 2 months!

010-9.jpg

I took the apple stuff and put it on the area that hasnt got anything growing on it, because i want to be able to plants in it, and i dont want the posion to kill everything off.

011-5.jpg

I had to get another picture of the Marigolds, because its HUGE!

012-7.jpg

One of its flowers.

013-2.jpg

Another Flower

014-6.jpg

And, ANOTHER Flower

I went a little pic crazy!

EDIT: Sorry about quality, 3.2 Megapixel Camera, i didnt use the new one.

keep up the good work,it looks very nice. :good: i think you have a greener thumb than you think.

Erm, Im afraid krib that most or nearlly all of those plants you have selected are not Aquatics plants and will surely rot away in your fish tank. Please be cautious when picking plants :p

Lol nice garden

^ You ace, are going to get killed one day. And i will be there to laugh at your demise. lol, just kidding =]!

Thanks. I dont understand this whole " green thumb" thing. This is a 5 step process.
1. Researcht eh plant
2. Buy the plant
3. Plant it in a sunny location, or wherever you have room ( lol)
4. Water it
5. Sit back and watch it grow.

TOOOO EASY!

8 days later and now my Marigold looks like this:

002-19.jpg

I swear that thing is on steriods. Do you guys think i should take it in, to see how big it ges next summer? Or let it die in the winter?

My next idea is to get a Bannana tree, but not till next year atleast.

I have to say that I bought a banana tree from the eden project in cornwall (biosphers which imiatate other parts of the world) and it grows HUGE. I gave it to my parents as a gift and the one I bought grows 1 meter per year!!!I had no clue.

Needless to say that my mum has tried to kill it and it is still going pretty strong. Just thought you may not know.
