I can see them now!!!! I want your boys Vicki!!!! I swear that Po and Gandor get more stunning every time I see new photos of them! I so wish I had room for another boy,- a Po lookalike would be perfect! I only have one space though and that's for my boy from Nat's dragon spawn. Not fair lol!!!

what all is entailed in spawning bettas? I would love to try my hand at it! I know that can have up to 300 fry, or so I've been reading on the net, just curious to know what it's like and how it differs from the books I've read

I'm on my first batch... I read at least 30 webpages about different techniques, the behaviors of the fish, weird breeding stories, etc. Surprisingly, my first spawn was so incredibly UN-eventful so far! (check out the topic "Winter is Brooding!" for the details) I mean my male Winter didn't even chase her, I let her out of the jar, she swam straight to the nest and he embraced her and started laying
