Well good news is in the many for me today. I will start with finding neons (normal and black), harlequins and glolight tetras at 50p each in my LFS this lunchtime. So after work I am picking a few up to add to my tank!!
While I was there I found my Nitrate test I have been looking for, as my current only tests the other stuff, it was reduced from £9.99 to £4.99! Bargain when online it was £7+
Also he has agreed to take my Chinese Algae Eater that came with my tank. He is ripping apart my plants that I want to settle into a planted tank so have been trying to rehome him for a while!
While on that subject I asked if he would also take my RTBS as he is getting feisty, and my Angel that is growing rather fast. He said he will happily swap them for smaller versions of them as people always look for bigger ones!
On my way back to work I went into Cash Converters and picked myself up a 14MP camera to replace my stolen camera phone, for £21, which in my eyes is a bargain, so I will be taking some decent photos this weekend!
Now the advice needed please:
I am trying to get some nice big groups in my tank. I will have:
25 neons
10 harlequin rasboras
10 glolight tetras
8 rummy nose tetras
8 copeland tetras
approx 15 cherry barbs (had some given to me not sure exactly)
I also have
4 dwarf gouramis
2 kribs
2 sparking gouramis
quite a few corys
I was looking today and love the look of the blue rams, he said they would be fine in my tank with the rest of them. I am planning on having only females as this will reduce the likelyhood of breeding which I know causes agression and problems. The kribs I have are both female and only 1 male dwarf Gourami but he isn't even interested in the females.
Could I get 2 more Kribs (female)
Would Apistos work in my tank?
Could I get a shoal of black neons?
Not all this together (unless possible)
My tank is 80gal, APS EF2000 filter. Going to be heavily planted once CAE is gone! So lots of hiding spaces.
Any ideas are great!! Just be nice to me

Also do you think it would be a good idea to maybe not get a shark and angel fish in replacement and maybe get something else or will these be ok? He is a great guy and I know he will swap them when too big, I know this isn't ideal but I can do it. But I also know someone with an 8foot tank that would take them to, but no benefit as such for me!
