yay i put sea shells in my tank but i never see anyone else do it

I have sea shells in my tank too. I bought a basket of them from the Reject Shop for $2 and boiled the big ones to steralise them and put them in the tank, they make great caves and I think they look really nice too.

Very cute Fishlette. My Molly gave birth last night, the fry are around 8 -10mm's and all appear to be black. But they're very cute too.

You don't happen to know how fast they grow, do you?

well i wouldnt hold my breathe waiting for them to grow lol no they dont grow that slowly but they grow really quick either. they pretty much seem to double in size each week-ish sorry i cant be more precise...just my way lol

That's a help tho, I've got a better idea now of how quickly I have to get a bigger tank set up to move mine too, by the sounds of things they'll out grow their current tank in a couple of weeks.

The first molly picture is lovely (I'd love to get a silver one, but I'm out of space!), is obviously female, how quickly can you tell what sex they are? I'm thinking of seperating them once I can tell what sex they are.

well that one is a month old. they say its supposed to be longer but in the last few days ive noticed definite boys and girls
