Some Fry Pics

just got a couple of nice pics so i thought id share.

first few are of the molly fry, one month old today

a blue platy baby

and the only surviving swordtail fry there were 8 but they were teeny tiny when born and there was an unfortunate accident with the filter (the filter has since been changed to ensure this doesnt happen again)

Cool fry, and great pictures!! I find it kind of hard to take pictures of fry since they are so small and quick...then again I'm not the best photographer in the house

Cool fry, and great pictures!! I find it kind of hard to take pictures of fry since they are so small and quick...then again I'm not the best photographer in the house

im not that good when it comes to taking photos either if you have a digital camera it should have a motion or sport setting that captures movement well. then ya just sit back and zoom in oh and take 300 photos to get 3 or four good ones

my guys are about 2cm for the mollies. i have a swordtail fry here who is three weeks old and still only the size of the one month old mollies. my swordtail mummy is quite a big girl so i expected her babies to be quite large but they arent.

Very cute Fishlette. My Molly gave birth last night, the fry are around 8 -10mm's and all appear to be black. But they're very cute too.

You don't happen to know how fast they grow, do you?

well i wouldnt hold my breathe waiting for them to grow lol no they dont grow that slowly but they grow really quick either. they pretty much seem to double in size each week-ish sorry i cant be more precise...just my way lol
