Hello,
I am at a loss, I have an 80gal community planted tank, stats;

Fish:
3 Pleco
2 Clown Loach
5 SAE
5 Gold Barb
9 Glass Fish
7 Zebra Danio
2 Giant Danio
1 Dwarf Gourami

Plants:
lots of Moneywort
lots of Hornwort
4 moss balls
1 large crypt Wendtii with a few baby replants
1 melon Sword

Set up:
Fluval 404
Diy Co2
JEBO 48" 220W(55wx4) Power Compact lighting
standard gravel w/ laterite and peat moss under

Chemistry
NitrAte 20ppm
NitrIte 0ppm
GH 110ppm
KH 100ppm
PH 7.6

Ok, here is my problem; somebody has been eating all the new growth of the melon and for the last week or so the baby crypts as well. I have suspects, but I haven't actually ever seen any of them eating. I feed daily flake and algae wafers, I am always afraid I feed too much because all the fish look fat to me so I skip feeding once a week. I have tried fresh lettuce, nobody ate it. I am thinking about getting some new plants, Aponogeton crispus, Marble Queen Sword, Monosolenium tenerum (Pellia), Ceratopterus thalicroides (water sprite), Rotala indica, Hydroplila Giant. I need to know if I need to be feeding them something else or if there is anything I can do to discourage this. Any suggestions are appreciated.

pleco, eats plants :) cleared away my planted 12 gal last year when i didn't know better :) hehehe ended with a tank without plants buuut with a healthy plec :D hahaha moved him away, couldnt discourage the plec to eat something else

Thanks for replying, that's what I was figuring. I was hoping for suggestions but oh well. Anyone interested in a couple of well fed plecos?
