So young, so confused...

wow. I got a BIG shock today when I came home from school. Out of the 6 beautiful babies Synirr sent me, I got '5 girls' and 1 boy. Weell, it looks like that has changed to 3 boys and 3 girls!!

Either that or these ladies have some major bubblenesting skills ... I'm a *tinsey* bit sad because I fell in love with 'Female 1' and wanted to keep her for Bonzai... her fins did seem suspiciously long ! But, now I get to keep Female 4, which is AWESOME! <3 her.

this is 'Female 1' and 'Female 5' (right after lunch, so they're a LITTLE BIT beefy)! Now male 2 and male 3... which is perfect, because the lady I'm giving 4 of the babies to next weekend actually preferred boys. Now she'll get 2!

Adorable!! My baby from Synirr makes the cutest little perfectly round bubble nests. And my female from Wuv bubble nests more than my males from her.

While females have been known to make nests, they generally don't hold together half as well as the males' do; especially not as well as that beautiful little puff of bubbles in your top pic. Talk about an about-face, lol!

Eh-heh... I was in a rush when I packed that batch up, so I guess I made a couple of oopsies ). With the previous batches I checked for ovipositors like a hawk, but I guess I was a little over-confident in my sexing skills this time around
