So Im In A Bind.....

so i am swithing from malawi cichlids and i want to get some eels and keep my current catfish.i was going to get tanganyika cichlids but i soon thaught about weather or not i should even get cichlids and just get an oddball tank.
the fish im going to keep/get are
7 syno petricola
1 syno euprterous
and i want to get 3 zebra spiney eels.
what kind of fish could i do?

I don't really have great advice (know slim to none about malawi cichlids) but I envy your syno's and eels...two of my Favourite fish types... But I would say anything thats not overly aggressive as I found eels aren't great at defending themselves...but thats my experience
