After Christmas, I shall be upgrading my 65l to a 100l.

Current Stocking:-

1pr Peacock Goby
6 x C. Habrosus
6 x CPD
1 undestructable Cardinal Tetra
Gazilions of Red Cherry Shrimp

I will be getting the Cardinal some playmates when we get the new tank, but I reckoned I had room for something else.

The question is:- WHAT?

Cardinals prefer warmer temp to the CPD's, i would leave out the CPD's and up your cardinals to 10 or so. They look amazing in larger numbers.

In regards to your other post regarding the kribs and cherry shrimp. I just (nervously) introduced a pair of GBR's into my 125l tank that has a decent colony of cherrys in a few days ago and they seem to be leaving them alone for the time being. They have had a good sniff around them but have shown no agression towards them, it the GBR's get to close for comfort the shrimp just swim off at the speed of light (or so it would seem, one second they are there, next they are the other side of the tank)

Are you looking for a fish the size of the kribs or something smaller?

Already have the CPDs. The species index on this very forum advises CPDs like a temp of around 26degrees. I can't currently access the knowledge base at Seriously Fish, but that says roughly the same thing, that's where I always go to research a fish species.

Zebra Danios, Pearl Danios, etc., certainly I would agree like the lower temps.

Are you looking for a fish the size of the kribs or something smaller?

That kind of size really. Something as a kind of "Co-CentrePiece" to go alongside the Gobies.

It's hard with shrimp because many of the larger fish do eat them. I particularly like gold barbs but I learned the hard way that they will eat even the adults. I like the idea of a dwarf gourami but wonder if they won't also eat them.

Cupid Cichlids? I just got two at the weekend, and love them - am already waiting for my lfs to get more so I can have a group. If you want a breeding pair though, I believe most in the trade are males...
