Snowflake Melted

so the second sw fish i bouht when i moved into the new place was a 4" snowflake moray. sorry to say he died today at almost a year olf and 16" so i got some new fuji rock im gonna add to the tank. i have a few corals and damsels any thoughts on something else to get thats cool?

Do you know why he died?

all i can think is that i was away for 3 days then when i got home i was sick so he didnt eat for maybe 3-4 days. other then that he seemed fine

all I can say is a moray eel of that size hasn;t died of starvation after a few days.

You can never tell with fish but it may be water issues. have you tested your water recently and seen if theres been any swings in parameters?

waters good, all other fish and inverts are fine. maybe it was seperation anxiety
