Thought you'd like to know that my new little betta boy is just adorable! I'm not used to seeing so much activity from a betta (my other boy was a senior). After just 2 days, he knew who I was and was waiting at the front of his tank for me, all wiggles and happy. He's beautiful. His name is Snowball (he's pure white, but has a shimmer of opalescence)!

i know what you mean about seeing so much activity.
my previous betta was an older, sickly lad i inherited. he would just sit on the bottom or in some plant, only moving to get food or air. so nice to have an active boy, patrolling the tank, beating up snails, and coming over when i'm near. (yup! he recognises the hand which feeds him!)
keep up trying with the camera! maybe move some desk lamps close to the tank, the more light, the easier it'll be for the camera! i took over 200 pics to get a half decent photo.
can't wait to see pics.
