Is it possible to house any snakeheads wit cichlids (fm's Blue Acara, Convict, Golden Sev)?

Depends on the size of the snakehead and the other fish, my gachua's were kept with a common plec and some 3 Aequidens without any problems till they mated and had fry, then all hell broke lose and the other fish were pinned up in one corner of the tank.

I'd say it's possible but it is risky, Although Predatory most Snakeheads aren't particularly aggressive so could easily be killed by an aggressive Convict or Firemouth for example. Also not to mention most smaller suitably sized snakeheads tend to need cooler sub-tropical temperatures making them incompatible with the tropical cichlids

My Channa Bankanensis is kept with a variety of fish including a large Severum and Nicaragua Cichlid in a tank that has ample room for each fish to retreat to if required,

Like with all territorial fish, it is simply a case of knowing the fish you keep and judging if they would pose a threat to a newcomer, regardless of what species they are.

when I sold tanks and ran out of tank space I had Stewarti and Pulchra with big oscars with no problems and they more than held there own

However when I had a tank with 6 pulchra in and I had to place a large firemouth in there in emergency the firemouth got a real hiding as I have never seen fish as aggressive as territorial pulchra

you;d have to try you judgement but I still reckon species only is best bet for snakeheads

I currently have a rainbow in with my larger cichlids and hes terrified and never comes out.
