comments/questions?

thanks jayjay, yeah i spent most of yesterday afternoon snakehead proofing the tank, should be ok now.

As for hels and Dany, ill ignore those comments :p :shifty:

so, do tell why these are illegal in the US and why p.bass aren't allowed in Europe?

i can say why SHs are illegal in US, cos if people release them into lakes or rivers then they could kill other fish, and they have a great talent of jumping a wiggling very long distances, this means to other lakes in the wild. Im sure CFC can tell you a story or two about how his snakeheads have escapes in the past

i think thats why anyway

Hes a very nice gachua, almost as cool as my schools Inle snakehead (Channa harcourtbutleri). Keep us updated with pics as he grows.

In the US they eat all the natural fish in ponds and cause MAJOR problems also for there ability to survive out of the water for days and being able to move about on land like geo said.

Nice geo

Who said p bass arent allowed in Europe? Whoever it was ought to visit Paul MTS, Dangerous Dan and me and tell our p bass that they arent allowed here

Snakeheads are illegal in the US because some idiot released some into a lake in Maryland which started breeding and wiped out the lake, and the fish and game authorities cant tell the difference between the hundreds of tropical snakeheads and the two coldwater species which can survive the US winters.

My sisters name is Channa, weird. My parents also dident even know what a guppy was.
Anyway lovely fish, and great pics

I love that lil guy! Was a nice find for us eh?

Snakey has bogwood. I say submurge the rocks into the sand for a better design :shifty: The one to the right especially. I'd hate for it to somehow fall on him too. The bogwood looks good enough for hiding under/in, and the can get behind the rocks need be.
