Hers is a really dumb question that I have been thinking about most of the morning (slow morning, mostly cleaning).
Do I have to get a new shell for my golden snail or do they grow with the snail?
Really slow morning, I have watched him do 2 laps around my tank!
Their shells do look like they are pretty solid and unyielding, but they will grow as the snail grows. Snails are not like crabs that shed their old shells and grow new ones either.

He just finished another lap and seems to be taking a little break now. That is a lot of work for the little guy!
I need to get out more!
