I ordered some live plants online and they came through, they are now planted in my 35 gallon community tank. Have just noticed today a tiny little snail creeping about the tank, guessing it came in off of the plants! Hes so cute lol :)
However I have heard that even a single snail can reproduce...? Dont know if this is true or not????
So my boyfriend is desperate to get it out of the tank but I quite like him and want him to stay
So if it stayed in there, would we end up swarmed with baby snails even though its alone?????
Any help would be great as I dont have a clue
Thanks.

save yourself some hassle remove it, you will find that A) there are types of pest snails which are Asexual aka just needs one and B) if you have one theres a very high probibility you will have more

depends on how often you feed your fish, try not to overfeed and you wont have many more than 10-15.

"They are a nightmare to get rid of once you have them. I had to strip out everything and start again cos they were driving me mad"
i had the same problem, but then cutting down the feeds and adding a 3 spot talking catfish (forgot the scientific) that also helped.... loachs are good choices too apparently

well it went into the empty side of my divided betta tank and it is now dead for some reason... :(
