I'll give you some of these -some people consider tham good as they stir up the substrate but I hate the things ever since they blocked an impellor whilst I was away & caused some of my favorite fish to die.
I keep red ramshorn snails in my Bettas tanks - pretty & not as prolific as brown ramshorns but if you get too many they squash easily as fish food.
If you want to buy a snail I'd recommend a zebra nerite which is a great algae eater but won't breed in freshwater.

BTW I have a cat called Godzuki -he's a little monster.

Which would you like?
PM me your address but I won't post until after the weekend. Snails travel ok in the post and £1 should cover postage.

remember the xtremely quick reproduction capabilities of snails... be prepared to literally "bucket" out loads of snails! :D

do u think snails are bad then??? I was going to try and get just a single snail originally to help with waste and algae... i have read that the malasian snails eat the fish poo as well as any algae. I also have a plec in the tank could that cause a problem??
