well i am breeding snails and have been for a month or so, they are to feed my dwarf puffers, i have 5 large snails in a little cooler, with some lettuce, no heater, no filter, no gravel..... just plain de-chlorinated water and sunlight....

i have not been able to tell eggs from poop, as i imagine they look the same, i have heard that the eggs will stick to the side in a white sack, but i need a visual and a picture of the difference..... as they require weekly water changes, how does this work withought getting the eggs dumped out???? please help and provide some info... thanks!

Not really sure, try the invertrebrate reptiles etc section of this forum i know there is a pinned topic on snails in there, its probably the place for the thread as well, people in here are usually trying to get rid of snails not breed them :D

hmmm maybe if you placed a few aquatic plants there and place the tub outside with a little sunlight it would help and you would not have to think much about the poop accumulating.

in my case (common pond snails) yes the eggs are white balls enclosed in a gelatinous substance usually glued to the side of plants or the side walls of the tanks, where as the poop is just black thread like things. :)
