Can't they grow up to 16 inches though???

They say clown loaches can get up to 12"; I've personally seen 8" clown loaches. Most other loaches are smaller; it just depends on the species. Plus loaches are social so they need to be in groups. I would have them on groups of 3 to 5 or more.
