I heard some loaches are great for getting rid of snails. There is also a chemical, but I am not sure whether that will harm your fish. I suggest you do a search on the forum, since it is a problem which comes back regularly here.

buy 2 baby pakistani loaches. After 3 months put them in a bigger tank. I have that problem now because i got rid of my pakistani loach. I'm actually abandoning my 2.7 gall tank tomorrow and there are millions of snails. They breed at an alarming rate.

Alternitively, remove those neons and buy some snail away and overdose it. Then do a 75% water change 2 days later and enjoy watching loads of snails float to the top. It might be an idea to remove the filter and keep it running in another tank with fish as i'm not too sure if it will destroy the bio media.

Dwarf puffers eat snails. One would be the perfect size for a 3 gallon, but they do best on their own without other fish. I don't have an over abundance of snails in any of my tanks in fact I wish I could get my trumpet snails to reproduce a little faster. Loaches are great snail eaters but they get to big for a 3 gallon.
