snails and clown loaches

I know clown loaches will devour small snails but will they bother larger snails? I am thinking about putting some nerite snails (about the diameter of a nickel) in a tank that has clown & yoyo loaches. Will the snails be safe? sometimes the snails fall off plants and such and end upside down so they're soft parts would be exposed before they right themselves. would the loaches be able to harm them then?

Im pretty sure the loaches would eat the snails. I wouldnt take the chance

bummer, you sure can't beat snails for cleaning a tank right up. I was amazed at how quickly the nerite snails made my other tanks all sparkling clean. I am just annoyed at all their little white eggs everywhere.
