I think I have to admit that my dwarf gourami is never getting out of his hospital tank. He can't be in with other fish because of his mystery cysts, but I'd like to have something else in the tank. It's a five gallon- I was thinking some sort of snail? I've read before though that apple snails and such tend to be very dirty?
Any suggestions for a snail with a low bioload? I'd go with shrimp but I think he'd eat them- I also think a snail would have to be on the larger side for the same reason. The tank is overfiltered with a filter rated for a twenty gallon.
