Snail removal with shrimps

What is the best way/treatment to get rid of snails when you have shrimps in the tank

Probably manually remove them.

What sort of snails?

Most snails can be taken out with a net or by hand. Malaysian livebearer snails need the tank emptied of fish and shrimp and either copper the snails or boil the gravel and wash the tank and filter out.

If you use copper, remove fish and shrimp and do a couple of 100% water changes and gravel cleans before putting them back in.
