I was admiring my tank when I noticed these little globs with white specks in them attached to my driftwood. I saw a snail a week ago, but I was still cycling back then and figured the ammonia would kill it off. I suspect them to be snail eggs, I've tried squishing them, but they're impeccibaly flexible and squishy  , so I just took them out. I'm still finding some of these blobs, are they snail eggs? I definatley do not want a snail explosion on my hands!
Any way to exterminate them other than squashing them?

i think assassin snails eat those type of snails =)
They don't breed like the pest snails either, but you should wait for someone who can tell you a bit more :)

You can treat the tank with commercial products containing copper, then use carbon to remove it afterwards if you wish.

i cant use copper meds, I have cherry shrimp that will be poisoned. Haven't seen any snails, and i've eliminated the eggs i can see...so i have to wait now...

There's just no need to do anything, don't over feed and you wont have any problems.
