I'm new so can't post in the chit chat forum.

Can anyone recommend a tropical fish to put in our tank that will eat all those horrid little snails?

I think we got one in one of our plants and and now there's like a hundred!

we have some neons, a male fighter, an angel and a molly.

It's a pretty small tank, about 1ft x 2ft and 1.5 tall....

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks!

we have 2 ladder loaches in our 15gal to keep the snails under control...

they are just like clowns in behaviour but only grow to 3 inches :D

like smithrc said, loaches like to eat snails. if they are really multiplying to much for loaches, you could try to slow them down just a bit with a little manual removal :dunno:

Get one of those kooli loaches. But a warning beforehand- do not worry if you never see it. They like to hide under the rocks and come out at night!
