Small Snail Eating Loach?

What loach is nice and small but still big enough to eat snails, and just how big do they grow?

Chain loach stay small (two inches) and are snailaholics, but they need to be kept in schools of five minimum and you can expect to pay eight quid each.

That's why I went for clowns, with the understanding of a friend with a huge tank taking them when they get too big for me.

What size tank?

Botia morleti and Botia striata stay relativly small.
