Don't know if there is the right forum to put it in but here goes nothing

I have a Fluval Edge and I can't stand plastic plants...there just too fake (I don't like the silk ones either for the record)

Does anyone have any recommendations for any small plants to use in the tank? Preferably of a low maintenance, or if there is anything I should be wary of putting plants in this tank?

Anubias nana would work. They need to be attached to rock or wood but you can usually buy them already attached. They grow slow and have no special demands.

Yeah they look ok, just took a peek on google, and not a problem really as I will be putting a rock/wood in there somewhere...now just need some sort of taller type one to fill some vertical space :)

Java fern looks like a winner, the moss likes like it grows out of control though...tell me if i'm wrong :p

yeah it looks like java moss is alot of meantience(however you spell it)

you could try dwarf hairgrass it looks like java moss but im not sure if it could get out of control

How big is the tank? Also, what sort of lighting do you have. As far as low light / CO2 demand plants, there are many to choose from like various Anubias, Java Ferns as stated, Crypts, Java Moss, various Vallisneria for taller areas, etc. With a bit more information we'd be able to help out a bit more.

Hi Ryno, it's a Fluval Edge, little thing :) With the standard two halogen bulbs

Marimo moss balls are a way of adding some moss and keeping it undercontrol. Really low maintenance too. All the plants in our edge our planted onto wood....looks cool plus you can move them around without too much fuss.
