Small plants in my new tank

I have just moved my fry into a smaller tank and i have put some live plants in there i dont know what they are called but one looks like a fern, one looks like grass and one is a greeny red colour, kinda bush like

How quickly will they grow? Also, how do i 'prune' them when they get too big?

Well Since you did not name them, telling you how fast they will grow is kinda hard..if they are Java Fern and Java Moss they will grow pretty slow, but they will grow..

as for pruning that is easy a pair of scissors is all that is needed and cut off the growth you don't want. You can keep you clippings and float them ( they will grow new roots ) or toss/trade/sell them if you wish..

what type of light do you have for your tank ??, make sure it is flouresent and 6500-6700K if it does not say any info on the bulb maybe tiome for a trip to your LFS to get a proper bulb..
