is it possible to keep really small fishes with big fishes?

well that's a very open question. the real question is, what fish are you talking about. for example you could keep a fully grown pleco with tiny tetras as the plec is a herivore and will noteat fish. however, you couldn't keep a fish of half the size of a birchir with a birchir. they have huge mouths.

what fish are you thinking of?

Depends on the fish. But generally speaking no.
Broadly speaking the bigger the fish grows the more of a predator/meat-eater they become. So it normally gets to the point where if it fits in their mouth then they'll eat it.
Such as angelfish and neons for example.

There are of course exceptions to the rule. But it's very much fish dependant, what were you wanting to keep together?

Meat eAter like angle with neon etc later what if I got a baby angle a small one do I have to put it in a different tank before I put it in the tank with big fishes

Fromwhat i understand neons usually end up getting eaten by angels as the angels get bigger. I think the generall rule is that angels will eat anything that will fit in their mouths.
