i was thinking of getting a small external filter for my 25L tank, is this abit stupid? and if it isnt what filter should i go for? only one i can sort of think of is the fluval 105 evrything else seems abit too over powered

i am not sure if there are external filter for tanks that size. i had the same thing so i decided to build my own one... if you are fairly technically minded there are many videos on youtube on how to DIY....not much help but if you can do it, it works out cheaper..

Or a small Rena external, they are very reliable, I once ran a Tetratec EX700 on a fishbox 48ltr, worked a treat :good:

Cheers, Sean

All pond solutions sell a small external filter for about £20 i think, should go well on a 25L tank

Nurglepuss ran an external on his nano, and i don't think it was 25L.
